About CelebWire

There is no shortage of celebrity coverage online. Most of it chases the same scoops, rumors and speculation. CelebWire does something narrower and, we think, more useful: we explain the machinery behind the headlines. How do award shows pick nominees? Why do some shows drop all at once and others trickle out weekly? What does a music producer actually do? Those are the questions we answer.

What we publish

Everything on CelebWire is evergreen — guides, explainers and analysis designed to stay accurate and relevant long after you read them. We cover five sections: TV & Streaming, Movies, Music, Style and Culture. Each piece is written to be read in a few minutes and to leave you understanding something you did not before.

What we don't publish

We do not report gossip. We do not make claims about anyone's private life, relationships or health. We do not run paparazzi photos, invented quotes or manufactured drama. If a story depends on speculating about a real person's private affairs, it is not a story we are interested in telling.

Who writes it

Our articles are published under the collective byline CelebWire Editors. We work as a small editorial team rather than a roster of personalities, and we would rather the work speak for itself. If you spot an error, we want to hear about it.
